What does this peptide calculator do?
Sometimes called a peptide reconstitution calculator, this tool performs concentration and volume arithmetic for a solution whose total mass and final volume you already know. It does not provide reconstitution or injection instructions.
The formulas
Concentration (mg/mL) = total mass (mg) ÷ final solution volume (mL).
Volume (mL) = entered amount (mg) ÷ concentration (mg/mL). An amount entered in mcg is first divided by 1,000.
What it cannot establish
- Whether a compound, dose, solvent, or preparation is appropriate.
- How much liquid to add, whether powder displacement matters, or whether a solution is usable.
- Sterility, compatibility, stability, expiry, purity, or actual concentration.
- IU, syringe markings, pen clicks, or recommended amounts.
If you have only a volume of liquid added rather than a confirmed final volume, ask your pharmacist to clarify. Do not substitute one without confirmation.
